RASA is a multi-cuisine catering house in Bangalore, established in 1995, that caters weddings, corporate events and private tables across Karnataka. It is organised as 25 specialist seats — a dedicated chef for every cuisine on the menu — rather than one kitchen cooking everything, and it publishes its per-plate bands. RASA is the catering house of Wedvitez Planners Private Limited. Your contract and invoice are issued in the legal entity’s name.
Curated cuisine
Curation is the choosing. A menu here is not a list of everything the kitchen can do; it is the cuisines the day needs, each cooked by the one person in the house who cooks only that. The Karnataka seat is the oldest. The pan-Asian seat is among the newest. Between them sit the coast, the hills, the Deccan, the North, the West, the East and the counters, and a fusion table built by any two of them together.
Exceptional hospitality
Hospitality, in catering, is mostly logistics done invisibly: the leaf lunch that turns a 600-seat hall twice without a cold wave, the reception counters that open when the couple walk in, the guaranteed count with a buffer above it, the Jain line with its own vessels and its own servers so nobody at the table has to ask. The kitchen has done it for 31 years in this city's mantapas, hotels, offices, farmhouses and homes, and in Mysore, Mangalore, Coorg and Hubli when the family asked.

Across Bangalore and Karnataka — Mysore, Mangalore, Coorg, Chikmagalur, Hassan, Hubli-Dharwad and the towns between — with the crew and a mobile kitchen travelling for events outside the city.
Is RASA a vegetarian caterer?
Both. The satvik, Jain and Brahmin lines run on separate vessels from the non-vegetarian seats, and both are cooked by specialists.

Get a menu and a per-plate quote, usually the same day
Date, head count, the cuisines you have in mind. Enough for the first reply to carry a menu and a number rather than a brochure.
What happens after you send the ticket
- A written reply, usually the same day. A first menu built for your occasion, the per-plate figure it comes to, and the two or three questions we need settled before the number is firm.
- A tasting. For weddings and events of size we cook the shortlist for you before you sign. Each cuisine on the menu is cooked by the chef who will cook it on the day.
- The plan for the day. Counters, service staff, timings against your muhurtham or your agenda, and the venue's rules on outside catering, checked with the venue by us.
