Vegetarian caterers in Bangalore

RASA runs pure-vegetarian catering in Bangalore across nine seats — Karnataka, Tamil, Andhra, Kerala sadya, Udupi, Gujarati, Marwari-Jain, North Indian vegetarian and the counters — on vessels kept separate from the non-vegetarian kitchen, with Jain and satvik lines stricter again. Vegetarian menus in 2026 run about ₹350–₹750 a plate for a leaf lunch, ₹500–₹950 for a Gujarati or Marwari thali, and ₹650–₹950 for a North Indian vegetarian buffet with a live tandoor.

Bangalore asks for "veg caterers" as a category because a vegetarian family does not want its sambar cooked in the pot that held the mutton. The kitchen keeps the vegetarian seats on their own vessels and their own line; the Jain seat is stricter still, with its own dry store; and the satvik Brahmin menus run without onion or garlic.

Vegetarian does not mean plain. A Kerala sadya with three payasams, a Gujarati thali with a live farsan counter, a Marwari dal baati counter, in-house paneer at a North Indian tandoor, a chaat counter and a halwai — a vegetarian wedding here has as many counters as any other.

What happens after you send the ticket

  1. A written reply, usually the same day. A first menu built for your occasion, the per-plate figure it comes to, and the two or three questions we need settled before the number is firm.
  2. A tasting. For weddings and events of size we cook the shortlist for you before you sign. Each cuisine on the menu is cooked by the chef who will cook it on the day.
  3. The plan for the day. Counters, service staff, timings against your muhurtham or your agenda, and the venue's rules on outside catering, checked with the venue by us.
