Festival & community catering in Bangalore

Every community in Bangalore has one meal a year it will not forgive a caterer for getting wrong. We know which.

RASA caters the city's festival calendar from the cuisine's own seat: Onam sadya for offices and associations, Ramzan iftar and Eid tables with haleem and biryani, Christmas dinners with a carvery, Diwali and Ugadi sweets and meals, Durga Puja bhog and community lunches, and Pongal. Festival meals run about ₹300–₹900 a plate in 2026 depending on the table.

Festival catering is where a single-kitchen caterer is most exposed, because the meal is the tradition. A sadya with the wrong number of koottans, a haleem that was not cooked overnight, a Christmas carvery from a hot box — each is noticed by every guest. The seats cook the festival they belong to: Kerala for Onam, Hyderabadi and Awadhi for Ramzan, Continental and coastal for Christmas, Bengali for Durga Puja, Karnataka for Ugadi, Tamil for Pongal.

The August–September Onam calendar and the Ramzan month are the two most booked stretches in the corporate diary; both should be reserved a month ahead.

What happens after you send the ticket

  1. A written reply, usually the same day. A first menu built for your occasion, the per-plate figure it comes to, and the two or three questions we need settled before the number is firm.
  2. A tasting. For weddings and events of size we cook the shortlist for you before you sign. Each cuisine on the menu is cooked by the chef who will cook it on the day.
  3. The plan for the day. Counters, service staff, timings against your muhurtham or your agenda, and the venue's rules on outside catering, checked with the venue by us.
